Lifeline is a government assistance program. Only eligible consumers may enroll, and the program is limited to one discount per household. A one-time activation fee of $39 will be charged to all new or transferred accounts. The California LifeLine Fund will pay for no more than two activation fees per year per eligible LifeLine household. If the LifeLine household is not eligible to receive the $39 activation fee from the California Lifeline Fund, TruConnect will use its own funds to credit the activation fee.
