TruConnect is able to offer free phone plans to our customers because of two government programs: Lifeline and the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). If you or your household qualifies for one or both programs you can get a monthly discount on your wireless service plan with TruConnect. In some cases, you may also get a discounted or free device!

Yes! You can bring a device you already own to TruConnect. When you enroll in one of our plans, you will want to select the BYOD (bring your own device) option to let us know that you already have a phone. We'll send you a free SIM kit with instructions on how to activate your new TruConnect service on your existing device.
